The Land O' the Sky Symphonic Band
presents concert band music in the tradition of a community-style
band. Our members include amateur and professional
musicians of all ages and walks of life who live in Buncombe,
Henderson and McDowell counties, with rehearsals held weekly in Asheville.

The band was formed in 1990 by two Enka High School alumni
whose love of music led them to create an opportunity
for adults to continue to play and perform.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

The Land O' the Sky Symphonic Band is a
North Carolina Arts Council, Grassroots Arts Program grant recipient.
